I have been wanting to send you a letter for some time now concerning the care of our parents when they were residents in your fine facility.
We want you to know that we were very pleased with their stay there. The care that was given to them was outstanding, including the excellent way they were treated daily. They were made to feel at home and were treated with dignity and respect. The food was excellent and we miss coming to have a meal with them. We would recommend your facility to anyone. Keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
~The Joe and Theresa Schmitz FamilyLiving at the Evergreen has been wonderful for me. There's always someone to talk to or play a game of checkers or cards. The staff is very friendly and always helpful and the food is wonderful. The best part is my family doesn't have to worry about me. They know I'm surrounded by people who care about me.
~Sam FuhrerMy granddaughter, Kelly Ptacek, told me about the Evergreen when I was first looking into assisted living apartments. I not only looked at the Evergreen but I compared it to other facilities in the Omaha area and chose it not only because of having family here but because I was impressed with the facilities beauty as well as the floor plan meeting my needs. (No elevators, stairs, and my apartment is roomy and very nice.) The first thing that I found was that the staff is very congenial and caring with not only me, but all of the residents. When ever I need assistance with anything, whether it is personal, financial, or health the staff is right there and assists to my every need. All of the meals are delicious and quite filling. I also must say that it is exceptionally great to have an in home beauty salon, and there are always interesting planned activities. The community is very fortunate to have such a wonderful facility in this area. The Evergreen definitely has a home like attitude and as time goes on I can truly say that this is my home.
~Ethel FrappiaWe want to express what it means to our Mother, Clara Miller, who resides at the Evergreen Assisted Living Facility, and to her daughters, Mildred, Marion and Lois.
All of us are so thankful for the care and concern she receives at Evergreen. Clara, who soon will be 98 years of age, lived alone in her own home in O'Neill. She had alot of company and was well tended to by neighbors and friends; however, she needed to change her living arrangements. Mom is quite independent, and we felt the decision to move into an Assisted Living Facility had to be her decision. In September of 2003, we were in O'Neill for a family reunion and also to visit Mom. All of us were doing "things" around the house, and out of the blue, Mom said "I am moving", we asked "where?" and she said "Evergreen". We hopped in the car and went to Evergreen. A tour was given as well as an invitation to a wonderful lunch, Mom said "this is it". In six days everything was accomplished for her move. We took Mom to her new apartment on Monday evening and on Tuesday morning all of us left to go home. Of course us girls were nervous about how Mom would get along. Well this did not last long! She fit right in - made arrangements to be taken to church, which was a big concern for her - made new friends and got reacquainted with old friends. From day one, she just "loves her new home". All of our phone conversations are so positive. She cannot say enough good about the excellent care she gets from the entire staff at Evergreen. Since us girls live out of town - Mildred in California, Marion in Omaha, Lois in Ohio - we cannot check up on Mom on a regular basis. Not to worry! We are informed of Moms' needs and her needs are met by the willing staff. We certainly appreciate Moms' surroundings and her Assisted Living Facility family.
~Lois KeilholzAre you in need of a helping hand? The Evergreen is the answer to your dilemma. It provides you with all the assistance you need. They serve very good food, you have your room cleaned and your clothing washed. If you need assistance in getting dressed, it is willingly provided. If you need help with your bathing, it is also given. The staff are very cheerful and helpful here at the Evergreen.
There are activities for your participation, also there are people that come here to lift our spirits with music and other entertainment, so life isn't dull here.
You bring your own furniture for your room so that your needs are met and it seems like home to you.
I have lived here over three years and it has provided me with a very pleasant life.
