Hi! My name is Gina Phelps and I have been employed at The Evergreen Assisted Living Facility for almost 12 ½ years. In that time I’ve had the greatest pleasure of taking care of hundreds of residents. Each one different and unique in their own way. Many come to us for sometimes just a short while or there are those that come to us for long term. I have seen them all become involved, outgoing, and grow to absolutely love living here!
The residents that I have had the pleasure of taking care of over the years have become like my very own family. They truly care about what is happening in my life as well as their own. I absolutely love my job and am blessed to be able to do what I do! I know that The Evergreen and all our residents have made a huge impact in my life and hope that I have been able to do the same for them. This is truly a great place to work!

"We are in the situation, perhaps not uncommon, where we live at some distance from our family member at The Evergreen. Melvin has lived at The Evergreen for approximately a decade, and it has been a secure and caring relationship for him and for us. His family has never had any concern about the quality of care, the cleanliness of the facility, the attractiveness of the living areas, the tastiness of the food, and the sincere warmth of the staff.
Melvin certainly views The Evergreen and its staff as home and family. And those of us who visit The Evergreen regularly always come away reassured by his comfort and enthusiasm for the life that he leads. On any report card that we would prepare, The Evergreen would earn a grade of 'A.'"

I would like to let you know how much I appreciate it here at the Evergreen. I have been here over five years now. I have been in several Senior Homes and now this Assisted Living Home. All the employees are so helpful and pleasant, many have worked here for a long time and to me this is a plus. The meals always have two choices. If there are some things you shouldn’t eat, (because of your diet) the cook will see that you have a replacement. The breakfasts have more choices than most people had in their homes. I have sold my home so now this is my home. A couple years ago I was hospitalized for several weeks and was scared I would not be able to come back and I realized then how much this place meant to me. We have meetings and activities about every afternoon with church once a week which I really enjoy.
Thanks Evergreen for everything!

Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of you at the Evergreen for what you do for our Mom, Helen Burk.
When we first started talking to Mom about moving into The Evergreen she kept telling us she was not ready to leave her home. But when she finally agreed to try it for a couple of months it only took her less than 2 weeks to decide that this was the place she wanted to live. Now every time we talk to her she tells us that she is “So Glad” to be there. Just knowing that she is “Happy” where she is and that she has her every need taken care of it makes us a lot more at ease.
We as a family would tell anyone that is in need of a care facility The Evergreen is an Awesome Place for your loved one to be in.
