The Evergreen Assisted Living Residence in O’Neill, Nebraska is a one-level, 39,900 square-foot assisted living facility in Holt County consisting of 53 senior apartments and 60 licensed beds. The Evergreen is just minutes away from the area’s hospital, medical, and shopping facilities.
Upon entering the assisted living facility, you will find two beautifully decorated sitting areas with a large corner fireplace. Here, the residents, their friends, and families enjoy time to visit and relax. Two game tables are also in the sitting area, where our seniors like to play cards or work on puzzles. To the side of the senior residence entrance are the reception desk and the Administrator’s office. Located in the center of the retirement home is the dining room, which comfortably seats up to 80 people. Off the dining room are the kitchen and the private dining room for entertaining small groups. This separate dining room presents an opportunity for residents and their families to dine privately with seating up to 8 people.
The Evergreen Assisted Living Residence also includes a beauty/barber shop, large activity room with a residential kitchen, library with a large-screen television, DVD and VCR. Other amenities include an in-house laundry facility, private chapel, physical therapy/exercise room, and peaceful outdoor spaces such as the gazebo, patio and beautiful flower gardens.
Each senior residence apartment has a private bedroom, full bathroom, kitchenette, and living area. To ensure the safety of our residents at The Evergreen, each apartment is equipped with personal assistance features including a fully monitored emergency call system, personal safety pendant, walk-in showers with seat and safety rails, and qualified staff on-site, 24 hours a day.
The hallways in The Evergreen have handrails to offer safe walking for those in need of extra support. The facility also has a secured entrance and personal indoor mailboxes delivered on-site by the post office. Behind the main assisted living building, there are garages available for the seniors to rent. Our staff provides valet parking service, delivering the resident’s car to and from the garage.
